My Practice has concentrated on real estate related law exclusively since 1984, assisting clients in financing, buying, selling, and developing real estate. I also act as associate counsel to larger law firms in need of an in-depth understanding of real estate transactions and financing.  As a title insurance agent, I have issued thousands of title insurance policies on projects ranging from single dwellings to the largest office building in Knoxville.  I began my legal career conducting title searches and examinations and writing title opinions.  I still conduct very complex title searches at the request of other lawyers as part of my regular practice.

I have served as special real estate counsel to the U.S. Department of Justice, Internal Revenue Service, U.S. Marshal’s Service and U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration, as well as the government of Knox County, Tennessee.
